I had a private event on the Roof at Black + Blue, and the staff were amazing and so kind! Catered to all of our needs and dietary restrictions. Food was delicious and arrived promptly. Amazing ambience, 10/10 would recommend for private events.
Over priced I had the lobster bisque and if you could find the lobster in there more power to you what I got was less then a half of a thimble full of ground up lobster not sure if it was lobster as the lobster may have swim by. I also tried the calamari I would rate it as about 1 out of 10 for quality and price. I probably should of not gone there as I do not eat steak and maybe there steaks are better. The staff was great. The vegetables where over cooked. I could go on and on but enough said.
I love coming here for happy hour in the summer. Nice view, great drinks, and awesome food. During work lunch this time I ordered the jerk chicken salad which was well portioned and delicious! Chicken was tender and salad was nicely dressed (not too heavy). I also came here for a birthday dinner- note they do not allow cakes.. even from their sister bakery, Thierry! You’ll be asked to keep to and take it home!
I would need a second visit to make a judgement . Charge for food is $$$$, with that my expectations happen to be greater. With a large party got to try a variety of dishes, some were hits and some were misses. The new York steal I felt was so so for the price. The waygu although pricey was excellent. Ambience was nice. Not sure if I would recommend going here yet. I am in no rush to make return visit, but when I do end up making a return visit I will add a review stating wether on not I strongly recommend eating here.
Private and well decorated rooftop patio at Black+Blue. Delicious food and great happy hour deals. A nice oasis in the middle of downtown.
Went to ‘the Roof’ for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere’s nice with many fireplaces and heaters to keep you warm when it’schilly outside. We started off withfresh oysters, andIordered today’s special which had lobster tail and steak, and hubby got beef tenderloin. Both were good, but I felt that steaks tasted better the previous time we tried Black and Blue. The servers were friendly and treatedus with chocolate cake dessert to celebrate our anniversary.
