booked a table months ago for anniversary dinner, the floor manager sat us at a crappy location however the server was very thoughtful and moved us to a great seating which was greatly appreciated service 5/5 the lady was such a nice person and because of this, it made our evening very pleasant Sangria drinks were pretty good, refreshing for a warm summer evening. Its not overpoweringly alcohol tasting just the way I like it, fruity the Halibut: crispy skin although a bit salty its was good when you eat it altogether it marries well Salmon: perfectly cooked, medium, tender, juicy and lovely crunch of salmon skin. It came with Basmati rice which was a tiny portion. Ambiance was definitely a plus, great place to celebrate special occasions
We stopped here for tea and cake while cycling around Stanley Park. A wonderful location within the park. Restaurant is tastefully decorated. Food was great (they had a kids menu too).
Group dinner during the holiday season, nice atmosphere. We were seated at a large oval table next to the fire place, an added bonus in the chilly Winter. As expected, we had a classic traditional dinner, well made but but nothing stood out. Portions were very good and the service was impeccable. The holiday set menu was good value.Overall, I would rate this 3.75 *If you are looking for something more traditional then this would be perfect, a solid choice and you will have an enjoyable dinner. If you are looking for something more innovative, creative then I would suggest a different restaurant.
food over priced, especially the cheese platter at $23. Was our first visit and was looking forward to a pleasant evening but, our server Gabriel totally spoiled the atmosphere as he had no charisma and was totally switched off, practically snatching the empty plates from our settings, and not even asking if our food was enjoyable.Won’t be in a hurry to eat here again!
I had GREAT, GREAT, GREAT time there! Spectacular ocean view; an aromatic fragrant smell of old trees from Stanley Park; delicious & very well presented foods, drinks & desserts; fast and friendly service … all made my day! Thank you
Incredibly romantic for dinner, food is excellent and portions are generous. Above all we LOVED LOVED LOVED the service. The service was what made this a GREAT experience. Friendly, funny, personable — it was the best service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.
Sunday, September 3, 2017. Why does the date matter so much? It’s our wedding anniversary. We have decided to visit this oceanfront restaurant.Overrated? Not at all, we both completely agree that we had one of the best dine-out experiences in Vancouver. We began with having their cheese plater which was pretty good and followed by their 10oz steak which was to die for. The meat was cooked to perfection. It was tender and juicy! To complete the course, we ordered a white chocolate cheesecake. The smooth and creamy texture combined with the berry pure was definitely worth trying.
