Mrs Canuck thought we should get some Subway, go to Stanley Park, and watch the sunset. I thought our last night in Canada this year deserved more. We took a chance and showed up at the Teahouse without a booking and scored an outside table with a sunset view. We started with some wine and hummus with pita and olives. For mains Mrs Canuck went with the duck and I had the grilled halibut. Both were flawless in preparation and presentation. For desert we had the lemon tart and chocolate cake accompanied by our favourite coffees.The service was friendly, sincere, and attentive but never rushed This is a great place for a special or casual dinner. But you should probably make a reservation so you won’t be disappointed at not getting a table.
