Small menu options done right! Standard drink selection. Came here for Friday night dinner, great atmosphere & friendly staff. Choice of patio seating which is first come first served or indoor. Windows on the ceiling allow as much sunlight in so if you miss out on patio seating its not bad. My recommendations- deep fried cheese bites with jalapeos & the fries.
3.5/5 I went to Timber for a quick lunch. The daily feature burger was too salty for my taste. But I can taste the quality of the food ingredients. I liked the fried brussels sprouts and finished it all. I also tried the mixing juice, and left with not so impressive with it.
Very meh. Wasn’t particularly bad. But wasn’t particularly good either.Food was overpriced, but extremely filling. Awesome location with the cool skylights which really make for a cozy atmosphere in #raincouver, but it could be decorated more tastefully. I don’t see this restaurant sticking around very long. Super friendly staff though! I’m sure they’ll be moving on to bigger and better things very soon.
We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for a beverage and a small bite to eat. Good atmosphere with a decent beer and food selection but very poor service. Probably won’t be back.
Had some time to waste so we stopped in for a beer and some snacks. The House Radler with fresh grapefruit juice $8 is delicious! Beer ranges around $7-$8 per pint with a good selection of local beers. The snacks – we ordered house chips $4 and deep fried cheese curds $7. Pretty expensive considering they showed up in small bowls.Unfortunately it seemed like the bar tender was also the server for the area so there was definitely a lack of service. It took awhile to order and when the food came out, we didn’t have napkins which also took awhile to ask for.
I usually don’t write reviews but this place deserves one. I was there from Toronto visiting friends and we stopped in. Burgers are pretty much my favourite food and most places have great burgers but often thick patties are not seasoned correctly and end up being pretty bland. I had the best burger I’ve ever had here.. hands down. There really isn’t much more to say.. if you like burgers just do yourself a favour and get it.
This is the worst place ever for food as there is nothing healthy. Not only that, it’s very expensive with no variety. I will never come here again.
