Good Food, Sadly Overpriced. I have been a long time Mai Thai customer and in that time I have seen their portion sizes go down and prices go up more than once. We picked up take out last night to find that our two orders of pad thai and one vegetarian dish were well over $50. The owner noted that because the price of beef went up, every dish on the menu has gone up $2.00. We didn’t even order beef. This paired with often poor service is going to make Prince George’s only authentic Thai restaurant a place that I do not visit very often. Thanh Vu has much larger portions. Way more bang for your buck. Good food at Mai Thai, but a bit greedy if you ask me. They put all their prices up $1.00 not long ago, another $2.00 is far too much.
Wow, Mai Thai! Absolutel…. Wow, Mai Thai! Absolutely fantastic food, very authentic, and insanely generous portions. Our server was very courteous, and the service was quick and helpful. The only complaint I might have is that rowdies tend to frequent here, so you might not get the nice quiet dining experience you’re hoping for.
Prince George’s most under-appreciated gem. I cannot say enough good about Mai Thai; I am big into eating out and this is one of my favourite Thai restaurants outside of Thailand. The value is outstanding – especially the lunch deals – and they have always accommodated my parties, even on very short notice. The menu is a little large, which can be intimidating, but if in doubt stick to the curry list or the chef’s specials. The flavours are beautifully subtle and only spicy if you specify, so newcomers need not fear. Certainly not a pretentious atmosphere, but I proudly have my birthday dinners here. Just wonderful.

Had takeout from here while in PG back in early May. The Pad Thai tasted amazing, very authentic!!! A surprise find up North, I will definitely be back!
Terrible Service. Will never go here again!!! They not only made all of our dinners wrong, but still added ingredients that we were allergic to and asked them not to put in. The manager said he would refund our entire dinner, and upon going in for my refund was told they would only refund ONE persons meal. Very unprofessional.
