  Great food and service. Went with a group of 12 people and they had no problem seating us all with no reservation. The couple at the table beside us paid for our groups drinks, which made for a great night. Would recommend.

  Mai Thai is my favourite restaurant. I absolutely love their food. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious down to the Thai iced tea! That being said, the only reason I cannot rate 5 is because the service is absolutely horrific. We’ve never had good service (Except the guy that busses tables sometimes, with glasses, he’s very efficient!).The last time we went we were brought the wrong appetizer and we said it mustn’t be ours, the server picked it up without saying a word and walked away. No apology, no explanation, nothing. We finally got our appetizer with our meal and was still never offered any kind of acknowledgement about the mistake. This came after I not only SAID what we wanted but also POINTED at it on the menu. Mistakes happen but to act like I forced you to ring up the wrong thing? Terrible service.

  I read several of the reviews before going here with some colleagues and some were negative on price, quality and atmosphere. Although the atmosphere is not ‘high end’ I don’t typically base my interest in that, I’m more interested in the food. The food at Mai Thai was excellent. We had 4 dishes that we shared and each had excellent flavour, a sufficient quantity for us all to feel full, and for a reasonable price for a dinner dish. We had a great time which was only accentuated by the great food here. Would most definitely return and recommend.
