This place is in SUCH beautiful spot! the views are stunning, especially at sunset.I had a reservation and was really unimpressed by the greeting, the lady was actually quite rude and abrupt and didn’t even make eye contact with us. We were seated in a nice spot though. The drinks took WAY too long, almost 15 minutes for 2 cranberry sodas. We ordered the ciopinno and the steak salad. I was so disappointed with the steak salad, for the price, it was so tiny. the amount of steak was a total joke. the dressing and salad itself was nicely dressed and tasty though. The ciopinno was very good, flavourful and a big portion. the seafood was cooked nicely inside and we ended up sharing this as the salad was appetizer size.We decided not to order anything else and got the bill. The place was almost empty by this point and we still waited for at least 10 minutes for them to bring the check after we asked for it.This place is in such a beautiful spot but their service was a let down from beginning to end so I’m not too sure id like to spend my money here again.

Fantastic food, beautiful views andgreat service. Seafood chowder, served nice and hot, was full of different seafood (not potatoes like many other places), cod and chips were terrific, the fish melted in my mouth, side of coleslaw was probably the best I’ve had, and the chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned (although I was so stuffed from the fish I didn’t eat many)…oh, and the beer our server recommended was exactly what I was craving. Very surprised to read the negative reviews. All establishments can have issues but Bridgeman’s was spot on. Someone complained that they waited 10 minutes for their beer…you should stay home with a 12 pack between your legs, that’ll hopefully be fast enough. Check this place out, sit back, enjoy the view and your company and don’t stress about the small stuff.

Pretty disappointed. Firstly I’d have to say that the service was great, but at this price point food should not be arriving overcooked and underseasoned. I had the tamarind chicken with clams and mussles to start. Three of my mussles were mushy and slimy in texture, and I felt quite ill the next day. As for the main dish, the tamarind sauce was good, but the chicken had no moisture left to it at all. The vegetables were overcooked and seemed to have nothing but oil on them, and the ‘lime’ potatoes just tasted like a deep fryer- again, no seasoning at all. My best guess is that a new cook was working, so I would be willing to give it another chance, but I feel like my $70 could be better spent elsewhere.

Not sure how the food is because we left. Showed up for lunch on a Sunday and there were no vegetarian lunch entrees. Mentioned our concern to the waitress and she suggested a salad (without enthusiasm). Even the brunch options were slim pickins… looks like their Mon – Fri menu was better but we won’t be back to find out.

Very little seafood in chowder and for that matter very little chowder in bowl. We think the location is beautiful, but holy moly, the seafood chowder is lacking seafood and chowder. The steak sandwich was very small also. I was very disappointed in the price for the quantity and the three shells of so called seafood. It is very annoying when you feel hungry leaving a place for the price.
