Had an amazing seafood meal here. Tried the oyster apply, garlic tiger prawns, and the clam and mussel appetizer, all of which were very good. I highly recommend the clams and mussels! Had the oyster entre as my main dish and was not disappointed, I will definitely be going back. Don’t be fooled by the age and simplicity of the interior, the seafood is on point!
This place is pretty average. I’ve heard people saying good things about it but was surprised how dank is was inside. It’s not a pretty restaurant and the service I received was not exactly friendly.Fish and chips were just OK. Save a trip and go to the cow bay cafe instead, much nicer.
Parking: Lots of free public parkRestaurant Ambience: Good, just like a family restaurant.Service: No complains but could be better.Food: Sub Par. Their famous crab cakes were unavailable. For a restaurant to claim that they are famous for their crab cakes, and not to have it available, its like Apple saying they ran out of iphones. To me, that is just poor management. Ordered clams and musselas side dish. It was such a disappointment because they were the smallest ones I have ever seen.Ordered fish and chips. There was more batter than fish, almost like eating dough the whole time.Lime Margaritas were poorly made and very salty. When we complaint, the server pretended that she didn’t hear us and walked away. Prawns and shrimp were very greasy and they had tartar as their dipping sauce…strange combo. What about shrimp sauce?Restaurant will not substitute any seafood with another even if you are willing to pay for it. Price: Just like any other family restaurant. Conclusion: Will not return. For a seafood restaurant, they should be ashamed with what they were offering.
Over priced. Captains plater rip off service was late and the portion was horrible…can not go there again..owner needs to get his ass out there and see what a terrible job they are doing…awful dont go its not fair price and lots of complaints.
EPIC FOOD. The food and service was amazing even at the height of dinner service. The captians plate was awesome would recomend to anyone.

Bad service and overcook food.. Service sucks!!! Waited 5 minutes ( first in line/no line-up behind us ) for a server to greet us. There were at least 4 servers standing around doing nothing but talking to each other in the bar area, and one standing at the till with her arms crossed. Empty tables all around us. Crab cakes were dry in the middle and soggy on the bottom. Oysters were way over cooked. Clam chowder was amazing which was our saving grace.
