Visited for lunch with a retired friend from Ottawa, we had a wonderful lunch of spot prawn salad, chicken with a lemon dessert. All wonderfully prepared, and presented. Looking forward to my July 2015 visit for lunch.
Found treasure. Owed a Shawnigan Lake friend her birthday dinner before her next birthday rolls around in June. Her choice of Unsworth last evening played out beautifully. Balmy evening allowed for wide open doors in the beautifully restored craftsman farmhouse. Warm greeting, delicious wines and excellent meals served up by a charming, helpful and low-keyed young man. Unsworth is now on our list of destinations for visiting friends. Well worth a trip from Victoria.
We had the opportunity to have a late lunch here this past weekend. Wow! What a great meal with excellent service in a beautiful building overlooking the vineyards. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a meal anywhere where I felt that every dish was a taste sensation. Portions were perfectly sized and I just can’t say enought how nice it was to have hot soup. I almost hate to post a review for fear I’ll have difficulty getting in next time we vist. This place is just too good not to share!
Fantastic experience. We have visited 4 times since their opening a few months ago. They are very quickly becoming our favourite restaurant in the area. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Food is amazing!! Last time, I had the pork bacon confit and roasted beets, paired with a nice Riesling – best meal I’ve had in ages. Every bite was enjoyed. The building is a beautifully restored farm house, with lovely deck overlooking the vineyard. Prices were very agreeable for the quality. So nice.
