Great little restaurant. Only a handful of tables. Service was attentive. Meal came quickly. Halibut batter was light and crispy and the chips were hot and done perfectly. Prices were reasonable. I recommend the Village Chippery.
It just doesn’t get any better!. Candied Salmon, veggies, pecans, dried cranberries in a beautiful salad! I will be coming back for this! Big portions of all this good stuff……great for a summer day.I love the batter fried fish…so light and crisp. The Chippery puts just enough of this batter on the fish so you actually are eating fish and not batter! Perfect!
Hidden Gem. This little eatery tucked away at Shawnigan Lake has delights to offer. I was surprised by the lightness of the homemade potatoe chips and dip. Everything was delicious. They were also very understanding of my gluten intolerance and were extremely helpful. I can hardly wait to try something else on the menu.
Awesome. Went to the Chippery after a hard training session on the Shawnigan Lake loop. Everything we ordered was perfect. From the home made potato chips to the chicken to the halibut bites to the ABC burger. All washed down with homemade lemonade. Will be back in 2 weeks for the Shawnigan Tri and be back for more.
