Not enough flavour. Very nice and clean place.. Great service however l was disappointed with my wonton soup… No flavour had to add bunch of salt and soy sauce and that helped a bit… Please try your food before you serve it…. I will come back and give it another try…
More Basil Please!. I have eaten at Bamboo Chopsticks at dinner 4 times now. My husband & I are huge Pho fans and we have been pleased with the Pho, but 3 out of the 4 times we have gone (over the past 2 years) they have either been completely out of Thai basil, or they have served ribbons of 2-3 basil leaves for 2 huge bowls. Each time I comment, and each time I am told that they have just run out, like it’s a surprise. Please, just order more basil!
Very very good. I’ve eaten here three times now and they have consistently been great. I love the seafood noodle dish. My wife gets the chicken curry soup.
Delicious, fast and fresh. I honestly don’t understand the reviewer who complained about the price – I’ve eaten at Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and every one in Kelowna; with the exception of the spring rolls Bamboo Chopsticks is some of the best pricing I’ve seen. Their food is delicious and is always fresh.
Good new addition. Have been in several times in the past month and, although I always order the same thing, it has been quite good. Flavorful tofu, large portions, and fresh ingredients. The staff is lovely and I’m glad for the vegetarian options. I do wish the vegetarian bahn mi had tempeh, tofu or seitan in it instead of just veggies. Still, the restaurant is a good addition to the somewhat sad Kelowna restaurant scene. I’m a regular already!
Great lunch experience!. This little restaurant is the complete package, great service, quality flavourful food, generous portions and all at a very reasonable price. I had the curry chicken which was just the right spice, a good portion and I loved it!I certainly plan to return and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
Amazing service and very friendly!! Work close by and have never had an issue for calling in and placing an order or sitting in! Recently came in with a friend and was served by Haily and she was very informative and friendly. Will definitely recommend you Bamboo Chopsticks Express to friends and family.
