Amazing food experience – the mango chicken is the best chicken dish in the city in my opinion! The perfect amount of spice with the chipotle rub. Great atmosphere in the lounge for Friday DJ night! DJ MadWax played a fresh mix of new and old. The staff is so friendly and hospitable. Can’t stop visiting this place! And excited for nice weather to sit on the patio for some Hard Lemonades!
Food was excellent. Service wrecked this experience . 2 tables in the bar area and 2 servers and a bartender. Math would tell you great service, but far from it. It took so long to get the drink order she asked for the food order at the same time. Drinks made it out about the same time as the food. And she never returned after till it was time to get the bill. Empty glasses sat on the table for half the meal.
Fantastic. Went for a Sunday night dinner, was greeted and seated quickly, the hostess gave me my selection of tables. The waitress was by shortly thereafter, patiently answered my questions and brought my drink in good time. My appy was right on time, as was my main course. Food was excellent, the steak a PERFECT rare, and presentation was top notch. Top score to Ashlin for her service!The only thing I noticed was that the lighting was really too low: you get eye stain from trying to read the menu, and you can’t really appreciate the appearance of the food. Bring it up a notch and it would be a 5 out of 5!
7 of us for dinner for a family dinner on a busy Friday night. We were seated in less than 5 min and greeted and had drink orders taken right away. The bar was busy so our drinks took a bit of time however we were made known that there was a wait. Dani was awesome. There for everything we needed. She went over the top. Awesome service. The food we excellent. Everything was above and beyond. I am always impressed with Moxies. The manager is always present and checking on his customers. We will continue to eat here!!
Good service. We went in on a weekday evening while passing through town, armed with a coupon from our hotel. Our server was very helpful in helping us decide between 2 appetizers & was very attentive throughout the entire dining experience. The ginger dipping sauce that comes with their calamari was a pleasant change from the usual tsaziki stuff I’m used to, making it worthwhile to finish up all the calamari (which I normally don’t order). Don’t frequent Moxie’s franchises often, but the quality of the cooking & service in a familiar setting was just the pick-me-up I needed after hours of driving.15 May, 2015Calamari. Regular calamari but instead of tsaziki or Yogurt-based dipping sauce, they have this gingery-concoction that takes care of any unpleasant seafood smell
Dead eyes hostess. Gf and I had dinner Tuesday night and had very mixed feelings with Moxie’s. The hostess was dead inside. No emotions or interest. Was she a robot? Our server was great and so was the manager… Gf’s order was wrong. They redid it right away. My order was very salty. They apologized and comped my beer. Thanks? Too many better choices of restaurants in Kelowna.
The food & service is excellent, so impressed with how great and quick the servers were with everything! However I did have a poor experience with a gentleman who I assume is the manager. Not only did he tell me I was wrong about the way my drink tasted, although there were 5 people plus myself to dispute it; he also spoke to me in the most demeaning manner. I understand that you deal with stupid customers whom don’t pay attention to what they order, but I am not one of them. Being a licensed bartender, I know what I’m talking about regarding drinks.
