This sushi place has been the worst sushi I’ve eaten in my life. I grew up in a very Japanese oriented culture and therefore have eaten a lot of sushi. However at O-Zeki’s the rice is too dry anf lacks flavour while any of the sashimi or the raw fish like salmon and tuna on a nigiri comes out way too thin. Compared to the price, it is definitely not worth it. The service here is terrible as the waitress only came by twice: once to take our order and once to give our order. She also forgot one miso soup and we had to wait 10 minutes for napkins. The dishes were unclean and portions were small. Never am going to come back and would not recommend to anyone else.

Not fresh sashimi. Was very disappointed after ordering the toro and salmon sashimi. Bit into them and it was frozen and rubbery, had to spit it out in napkin. This is how you test the freshness of the fish. This place does well with rolls because the sauce covers up the original taste of the fish. Also ordered the udon noodles and the noodles were breaking in the soup, not fresh and packaged noodles. Brought this up with the waitress and was told that I needed to heavy dip the sashimi in soy sauce to get rid of the rubbery taste. Ridiculous. If the fish was fresh you don’t need to drown it in heavy sodium. We will never return to this place. Eat fresh fish, don’t settle.

Sloppiest sushi I’ve ever had…. blah.. I really wanted to like this restaurant. The tatami room booths are a very cool concept I haven’t seen elsewhere in town – I went back a few times just for that, but the food has gone downhill so much it’s not worth it any more. I ordered the smoked salmon roll, and it was the sloppiest looking sushi I’d ever seen – I could have rolled and plated it better myself. It tasted like it looked. Disappointing…

Amateur. Having lived in Kelowna for many years we have watched his place take a nose dive. The take we had last night was amateur at best. The rolls were so loose and poorly layered that they fell apart the second you tried to pick one up. The ingredients were uneven and the flavour was average. Very poor skills.

Just average all around. Good quality and presentation are mehCan do better elsewhere. Definitely going downhill.

Awesome prices. Got four rolls, sashimi, and tea for my girlfriend and I and was a cool $26. Service was 10/10 and taste was 8/10. Some of the rolls where kinda falling apart but if you know how to use chopsticks it’s not a problem.

Love the food and atmosphere but our waitress was very mean. I forgot to take my shoes off and she yelled at me. Then for the rest of the time she was very cold. Hope I don’t see her if I ever decide to go back.
