Not worth the money. The quality is maybe like taxi bell. Fast chain food but overpriced
AWFUL Customer Service!!. I was horrified by the lack of customer service the owner/manager showed me yesterday!!! He wouldn’t honour our Twongo, because of problems with the company. I was very angry that I had purchased this Twongo and we are not able to use it. I understand that Taco Del Mar is having problems with Twongo, but they offered a discount to bring more people into the business, and to not honour those discounts is HORRIBLE customer service!!! Then when my husband was about to pay for the food, the owner made a snarky comment and took the food away. At that point I didn’t even want it anymore because I prefer to give my business to companies who actually respect and appreciate their customers. I will NEVER go back to that Taco Del Mar. I am not going to support a business that treats their customers that way. Which is too bad for them, because for the cost of $4 (what he told me he was supposed to get for each Twongo), he has lost us as customers, and I am going to spread the word about their pathetic customer service. We used to go to that Taco Del Mar all the time (even before he hired Twongo for the deal), and I will now be going to the ones in West Kelowna whenever I want tacos.
To dburroughs and anyone else looking for an amazing fish taco at a reasonable price I invite you in to Chronic Tacos for a fish taco that quite possibly changed my life. Hand breaded in a homemade beer batter , or pan fried with a blend of spices and topped with all of your favourite toppings (or try it Baja style as I always do + guacamole of course)! This fish taco is sure to dull the craving and I speak no word of a lie, come in and try it yourself you will not be disappointed!
New Manager, Excellent Now!. Love this place! Excellent food and great value for money. It went through a rough patch a while back where things weren’t going so well. But now they have a manager who really cares and the place has come back to life. The food quality is good again and the service is also pleasant now! Healthy fast food–yeah!
So glad to have mike back! This place went downhill under previous owners but now Mike, (the guy with the dragon tattoo) is back and is running it the way it should be run. Great value, great flavor…glad its back! Try the taco enchilada platter.,.its my favorite
Affordable and Filling. This place has been my longstanding favorite mexican food joint over failures like taco time/bell/etc, their prices are reasonable, the mondo burrito leaves me stuffed every time and they even have a handy rewards card that eventually leads to a super cheap lunch (5 bucks off after 5 visits, the burritos are about 7 with tax) though while it may not be the best for you, as the other guy said it’s still way healthier than mcdonalds or most burger joints. the shredded beef with extra sour cream and rice with no beans and a smidge of cilantro is delicious btw
Not Great. I had a hankering for some fish tacos so I decided this was the place, My friend and I went in and ordered. I ordered one fish and one beef but the server got cranky with me for ordering only one fish since the are harder to make. So I changed my order to two. They use frozen breaded fish patties that makes Captain High liner taste good! It was sick, for some one with a fish on their sign may be they would put a bit of effort into their fish taco. While eating both employees exited the store to have a smoke leaving 6 or so customers to fend for them selves.
