Food was just OK. Prices have skyrocketed since I’ve last been there. $36 for a steak with NO salad, only ONE accompaniment, food that’s not that tasty. You’re paying for the atmosphere, if that’s what you like paying for. Ditch the Keg and support a local mom & pop restaurant that has authentic good food.
It was busy when we arrived and so we sat in the lounge. Our server was nice although she seemed annoyed. I got what I usually get which was the filet mignon medium rare with a side caesar and garlic mash. The mash was salty and the filet was slightly over cooked. Average compared to the keg back home.
It’s been a few years since we have gone to the Keg. We used to love the Keg and thought we would give it a try.The service was decent but the food was not up to par. My prime rib way too salty and my wife’s steak was under seasoned. My daughter enjoyed her burger as did my son. You would think that a restaurant that specializes in meats could get that part right.
Service was slow, food was cold, and I like the Keg. Was sorely disappointed.
