Amazing place. Fantastic food . Amazing service. For all that the price is cheap I think . $30/person for all you can eat sushi is nothing for the type of food they serve. The system they use is second to none. Super easy and great way to make it interactive and fun.
This is a fun restaurant for a nice dinner out. Great atmosphere on first impression. It is a family friendly place too, though mostly adults. We enjoyed great service from Chris and Jack, who offered delicious suggestions and kept our drinks topped up. Each table orders from an ipad. My favourite part was getting to taste so many small plates with different flavours. It’s not like some places where everything on the menu looks good but you only get one meal per visit. We enjoyed the wonton soup, seasame chicken, teriyaki chicken and salmon, sushi, scallops, tempura shrimp and zucchini, pad thai, etc etc etc. We also tried some creative desserts to finish our meal. I noticed some tables just ordering large platters of sushi too. I love sushi, but enjoyed tasting the variety on the menu. The sauces weren’t too strong or rich, generally quite mild. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun dining experience that is not stuffy but very special.
When I spotted their street sign and noted it’s a sushi buffet, I had to try it out. Stopped in for dinner: An impressive building on the outside, and very open and modern looking on the inside. Was greeted and seated right away, and the host explained their iPad based menu/ordering system to me. It’s very simple to use: order what you want, whenever you want without needing to call a server. The food was very good! Selection was the best I’ve seen for a sushi buffet in Kelowna. Smaller portions, thereby easier to eat, and there is no limit. The sushi was excellent: buttery and melty, not chewy or bland at all. The rolls were nicely made and all the food was served very tastefully, no pun intended. Not everything looked exactly like the photos in the menu (like the soups and salads), but it all looked and tasted good all the same. (Really good beef tataki)The service was prompt and polite, taking away plates quickly and checking on tables periodically. The restaurant itself isn’t noisy, and has comfortable seating. They also have free WiFi: something i notice a lot of Kelowna restaurants don’t offer. It is a bit pricier than average (10-15% higher) and they charge for all beverages aside from water, but given the experience, it’s worth it. You get what you pay for, after all.
