This is a little diner I came across on a cold winter day when a good soup and tea were the best way to get my core temperature back to normal. The soup was vegetarian and well rounded nutritionally. The serving size was generous and the value was very good. Service was better than expected for a casual little diner. I’ll be back for sure.

We walked by and were super surprised to see a restaurant advertising Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, so of course wanted to check it out! My friend ordered the wonton noodle soup with chicken wings (and only got a single wing…?), while I ordered the beef noodle soup. The noodles were cooked well, and the soup wasn’t bad at all, a little overly salty and surprisingly spicy. Pricing was very reasonable for the portions. Overall, we think this place is a decent choice for grabbing a quick bite of filling Chinese and Taiwanese food.
Great No Frills Downtown Chinese RestaurantTea Wok was too crowded, so I went to Big Rice Bowl for lunch and was happy with my cheap and cheerful Beef Noodle Soup. Been here in the past and happy to see that this place is under new management.Might be the best beef noodle soup in the Downtown area right now and it serves Xiao Long Boa, too?I think I’ve found an alternative to Tea Wok and a replacement for Shanghai Xiao Long Boa Restaurant.
Yummy. Their speciality, Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, was very good. Bit spicy for me because I don’t eat very spicy food. Good size, good price -> $8.00 on Fridays.
Delicious beef noodle soup. Spicey but not too spicey. The chunks of meat in it were so tender as mouth watering. If I lived in the city I would go once a week! Perfect soup for a warm day.
