Cenote is a good place to have conversations. If you want to chill out in a mellow ambiance while you enjoy strong cocktails, you should pay a visit.Although the place is located in a basement, they managed to decorate it with warm accents. They have cushions, a Dj booth, couches, cute eclectic details. They also display itinerant art on the walls, yesterday’s artist was a bit shady for my taste.The food menu is gastro pub style. Simple elements with a hipster touch.I’ve tried the German and Canadian dogs. They use crunchy baguettes for the hot dogsto help contain all the ingredients they put. So far, the Canadian dog has won a space in my heart. The chilli, cheese, and European style sausage worked in perfect harmony. I wish there were street carts selling those dogs in the parks.It would be awesome if they offered toppings for the dogs. French fries and poutine would also be a good addition to the menu.I really liked the midnight espresso cocktail. Works good as desert and digestive.
