This is a lovely local chocolate shop that serves also coffee and tea, and amazing chili hot chocolate. You can sit at the long bar and watch the people of Victoria go by. Situated across from the Dutch Bakery, this is a hidden gem that a friend introduced me to 1.5 months ago. I’m hooked. The handmade chocolates are recommended to be eaten within 8 days and do not require refrigeration, but many of the chocolates have a smooth cream filling and rich spices and flavours that just pull you in (wasabi and ginger, saffron, hazelnut, brandy, champagne, lavender and more), I’d be surprised if they lasted that long. The chili hot chocolate is just right on sweetness without being overly sweet, and just a bit of a kick in the throat when you swallow. Great if you like chili. My friend had the salted caramel hot chocolate which he enjoyed as well. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, but rely on the descriptions of the chocolate contents and your own tastebuds to choose your fancy, as none of the staff seem to be able to describe beyond what is in the chocolate itself.
