4/5 I’m not a milktea/bubble tea person at all. However, I would like to order from here if I am thinking of bubble tea. Their bubble tea is so outstanding, amount thousands of bubble tea places in vancity. The line up is totally worth it. (better than line for that gelato place nearby 🙂
Standard bubble tea place — convenient hours since they open until 11pm. Lots of international students in the area — this location seems pretty popular. Lucky for them there are no other bubble tea in the area — next closest one is Shiny Tea in International Village.BUBBLE TEA: I’ve tried the 2 Girls and 3 Guys drinks and they’re pretty decent since their base tea flavour is good. Recently they’ve also started selling a Roasted Milk Tea version and that’s quite good as it sells out sometimes!Also make sure you get the points card!
My last visit to Coco was over 3 months ago (see previous blog post) and this time around I had the 3 Guys drink again. It has classic milk tea with 3 toppings (grass jelly, pearl and pudding). Great tea flavour and tasty toppings. The pearl texture was on point (soft and smooth on the outside and gradually chewy towards the center). CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice is the world’s largest Bubble Tea company and they have locations all over Asia and North America. The interior is pretty small, so most people do take out.Classic Bubble Tea with pearls was what I got. I opted for half sweet. It was pretty good, but ChaTime inches out slightly ahead since I like more of the roasted flavour.Overall, it’s a pretty solid bubble tea place in the Downtown area. Nothing fancy or different that really differentiates them from the other shops in town. foodology.ca
Great bubble tea, one of my favorites in Vancouver! Their teas are simple and rich in flavor and the price is pretty decent too for what it is. 3 guys or 2 ladies are definitely my favorites. My only complaint is that they add too much of the dry ingredients and not enough liquid!
I ordered a green tea with coconut jelly. The green tea does not have any green tea taste. They either mixed the green tea with water or their green tea has no quality. The amount of coconut jelly that they put in is less than the amount at other bubble tea places while they charged their toppings the same price as anywhere else with less selection to choose from. Their tea is tasteless compared to Shiny Tea, Chatime, or The Bubble Tea Shop which are also in Downtown. Therefore, I cannot go back if their green tea is that weak.
Finally ! My favorite bubble tea place is open in downtown !! I am a huge fan of bubble tea and I have tried many different bubble tea places in Vancouver. Coco is my number 1 bubble tea place. I usually order their bubble milk tea.Their bubble is chewy and sweet. I
