Decided to check out this cheap Indian place as it was very well rated. The butter chicken that I had was awfully bland, the naan stale and the portion size would not fill a larger man I’m sure. Maybe their more authentic veggies dishes are better as butter chicken is usually not a good measure of Indian food. Selection of dishes was also poor. Overall I would pick other better places of that same price range. Would not go back or recommend to a friend.
went in here after a full day in library, was curious about this place because te rating was high and the place is small and the traffic is really high for customers to give review in this place. i ordered the combo and the way the seller describes it, is really and he was really friendly as well. had the combo and one can of pop for $9.90 and i got the mushroom rice, butter chicken and green something which i forgot what it’s called. the mushroom rice is excellent as i’m actually a big fan of mushroom, the taste is blended well with the rice. and as for the rest of items though… i’ll say is mediocre, the butter’s chicken sauce felt like liquidy/watered down. there’s only around 7-8 cubes of chicken and the green curry/something is quite new to me however the taste was just okay (tasted like mashed boiled seaweed) and the naan bread is not as soft as i wanted to be and the other layer is not really crunchy 🙁 maybe i came at the wrong time, (3-4pm) ) but all in all i would’t recommend the place 🙁 mangkr.wordpress.com
Two thumbs up!!. Whole last week I was in Vancouver for work related training and I was looking for good Indian food.I am Indo-Candian and I live in North of B.C. and we don’t have lot of Indians or any Indian restaurant in my area.My stay was in downtown Vancouver. After walking around few blocks I was glad I found this little Indian restaurant around the corner. The food was really good.I tried few things.Naan was super good.I ate there almost every night during my stay.People who work at the restaurant were surprisingly very friendly.Over all,it was a great experience.Definetly going back to this restaurant the next time I am in Vancouver.
Fantastic, Fast Indian food. We were in Vancouver with our two kiddos. When it is just my husband and I, we love upscale dinning, but with the kids, after a long day of site seeing– fast and familiar is the name of the game. The kids LOVE Indian food. The kids gave Curry Fusion 10 stars (5 from each of them.) In fact we ate dinner there both nights– at their insistence.I also have to say — their naan wraps were a hit. My daughter often orders dal soup, butter chicken and naan and then creates her over wrap at the table at our favorite Indian place. I thought it was uniquely her. Not so. Both evening she ordered the naan wrap– which on the menu comes with rice and butter chicken– but the server happily gave her half a scoop of dal and half a scoop on butter chicken and made her wrap. She loved it.My son loves naan and enjoyed butter chicken and naan both evenings.I have to say the Chana masala was excellent. Some of the best I have had. The Palak paneer was good. This is a walk up– eat at the bar or small outside bistro table or take out place. Great for a quick bit. They also do take out.
Delicious and Well Priced!!. I came here as I was wondering downtown and I am so glad I did; it was delicious! I had the mixed vegetables and the chana masala and it was wonderful. The food had great combination of sweetness mixed with some spiciness. Can’t wait to go back again!
Good price, mediocre taste. Who knows maybe I’m just not an Indian food guy? I thought I was? I love Curry! and a good deal 🙂 Ok so I had the combo, its a good value at $9.50 after tax with a pop. I had the mixed vegetable curry which was potato, peas, carrots and a couple of half brussel sprouts… I do love brussel sprouts but definitely not like this, unfortunately I could barely taste the curry. I also had the chili chicken which he said was a curry as well and super spicy. Once again I could barely taste the curry, the chicken, onions and few slices of green pepper were not bad, it was not hot at all. The rice was good! yay! and the Naan bread was also very good as well, but those two items alone cannot save the meal…
Good value. It is not overpriced. It is delicious Indian food. The staff are nice and the location is great. Definitely worth it!
