Was here a couple times last night. Drinks were good. Earlier in the evening was my better experience as I am near 40. Later on in the night there was a much younger crowd which I am a little old for. But the live music was really good.
This is a super fun place to go! They have good fries but that’s all I’ve eaten there. Normally I go when they have live music for dancing and it’s a blast.
Went to this place for drinks and nachos. the patio is nice and heated in the evening, they seem to have bands regularly and the service is friendly and quick. But the nachos were bad. About half of the nachos had no cheese on them and the ones that did have cheese had barely any. The avocado was $3 and tiny. But the drinks were nice.
We have really enjoyed ourselves here the last 2 afternoons! Short walk from our hotel, great little patio with a view of the harbor. The service is slightly slower but very friendly and we were in no hurry so had no issues. Food is decent – we had nachos with the chicken yesterday, pretty tasty but could maybe have used more toppings. Today I had the lettuce wraps with prawns which were terrific! My boyfriend had the poutine and was pleased with his choice as well. A really nice little pub & patio, hopefully we can get in one more visit before we return home on Monday.
Overpriced for mediocre food. Service is slow – took us almost an hour to get our food, and it wasn’t even that busy. Servers don’t really check up on you either. It seems disorganized.Some of the menus should be replaced because they are well-worn.
Pretty okay until the bill came. Was having a great time with 5 others at Darcy’s. We were given our bills and a bunch of us had already paid until one of us asked about the Service charge on the bill. Apparently they add a Service charge / tip on automatically for groups of 6 or more. This wouldn’t have been a big issue if a bunch of us hadn’t already tipped 20% on top since we weren’t given notice of the automatic tip.Restaurants typically make you aware they are automatically adding a tipping fee. Not impressed by our server to say the least.
Great blue cheese burger, good beer selection on tap, not too loud, not too crowded – lots of corners if you don’t want to join the crowd at the bar. I’d come back.
