I am here at the Langley food truck Festival. Saw a short line up and decided to give it a shot. Portion wise, noodle was not a lot, one shaomai, one shrimp dumpling, two pinky sized egg rolls and unwashed half stalk of boy choi. I was barely half full. Flavour wise, everthing was worse than subpar. Price wise, $11 for all that including a pop. Fine, everthing was bad but at least I hardly waited for the food.
Apparently this place went out of business for a while but then came back. It should have stayed down. There is nothing redeeming about this food truck. The Dim Sum is dry and flavourless served with bland noodles. Even putting extra chili sauce on the whole thing couldn’t salvage it.Avoid at all costs.
Some of the worst dim sum in the city. I can get better quality dim sum at the frozen section is any Asian supermarket. The only thing of value that is being offered is convenience, I’ll give them that. Really sub par considering what the other food carts in the city have to offer.
Very greasy. Not too cheap. Limited offerings.. I hit this place on occasion out of convenience more than anything else, but just like a late night trip to KFC, I’m always ashamed after the fact. The food is greasy, though tasty, and the only thing that’s slim is the variety.I know dim sum isn’t diet food, but a good food truck brings an ethnic flavour to modern food, and provides it in a way that you can carry it away and eat while walking. But everything here is in styrofoam containers that, really, have to be eaten at a table.Big, lumpy, oily, not inexpensive and messy. It’ll do in a pinch, but mostly it’s a fail.
