I’ve been coming here since the 1950’s and 1960’s, first with my mom and later with my daughter. The pastries are excellent, especially the vanilla slice and chocolate eclair. I usually have the bacon cheeseburger and sometimes the potato salad but today it just wasn’t the same. The burger was barely a half inch thick and was very salty–really disappointing. Also, the last several times I’ve been there the service has been slower and less friendly than what it used to be. I’ll still pick up their delicious pastries, but will probably skip the cafe.
