If you are so used to those junky North American pizza, Famoso is not for you. I love their authentic Neapolitana pizza… but I also dislike their fusion stuff such as Korean one. Stick to the basic Italian varieties, they are amazing. Banana dessert is overpriced and disappointing, but gelato is great.
Favourite neapolitan pizza in town! No burnt bits as I’ve had on my pizzas from other places. To top it off they offer soy cheese for no extra charge. Their Nutella mocha is what got me the first time. I love it here!
The food is spot on. The service is terrible. Our waitress asked us if we would like to move or leave after we had already finished our salad, because she had a reservation in a half hour. So we moved. The demeanor about it was horrible. Most places would be apologetic and help you move and we moved most of everything before she even helped. We then got the rest of our food, which was delicious. Then by the time we were finished we sat there for 20 minutes and my husband had to ask another waitress what was going on. We hadn’t received a bill, or offered desserts. The manager was there. He did not come over our waitress came over after we alerted the other waitress, acted like nothing was wrong, didn’t apologize. They have great food, pretty place….but no service.
Very nice Italian restaurant! I had the Gorgonzola Walnut Salad with Chicken Breast – Amazing and my husband had the RIGATONI BOLOGNESE with Chorizo! He loved it! Great for families and day night! Highly recommend!
Had an early dinner yesterday with my family. Ordered two pizzas on the advice of the manager The Ubbruzzo and the Cavaletti…amazing. We found the service was very attentive without being pushy and the food was great, we will definitely be back.
My kids love this place. The pizza is not bad but because it is family friendly we keep coming back. Ask the servers to give the kids some pizza dough, it’s for free and will keep them busy till the food comes
Such great friendly service and awesome food! I asked the waitress for a suggestion for a vegan pizza and the one she suggested was amazing (sadly I can’t remember the name but you can see the picture) it was easily the best pizza I’ve had! Love that they have daiya cheese as most of the time at pizza places I just get pizza with no cheese!Also the marinated olives were insanely good! And it was a very large portion!!They gave our kiddo dough to play with and a free scoop of gelato at the end! My husband had a meat filled pizza and said it was also incredible! We come here once a year when we visit Victoria and have never been disappointed!
