The gnocchi is really good! Tho pretty oily. Small restaurant. Long Waite for food. Service is slow but friendly. 4/5 for the food. I recommend making reservations before you go.

Had a very pleasant dining experience in January 2016. Service was very good, food/drinks excellent. Had a perfect martini and very fresh raw oysters, followed by prosciutto-wrapped Ling Cod that was done just right with delicious and appropriate accompaniments. Perfect ambiance – unrushed, soft lighting, brick character and hardwood floors.

One of the best meals we’ve had in Victoria so far! Went in with my husband without a reservation around 7pm on a Saturday and even though the restaurant was very busy, they were able to seat us in ~15 minutes. The atmosphere, the service, the food and the drinks were all fantastic! I had the Medina to drink, baked oysters to start and the scallop pasta special as a main dish – all delicious! My only minor complaint was that we were very close to our neighbours. Overall a wonderful first experience.

I had been to Ferris’ before for appies but this was my first time having a full meal. The service was amazing as always, the atmosphere was great, my drink was tasty, my appie (liver pate) was really good, but my main plate was SO bleh. I ordered the ricotta and potato gnocchi with sausage and I guess this was a bad choice at a seafood/fish restaurant but I was still pretty disappointed. The sausage was alright but the pasta was so bland and was nothing like real gnocchi. It was more like someone had cooked mashed potatoes, rolled them into balls and re-cooked them. And they fell apart the way mashed potatoes would – not like pasta. Also I had to add a lot of cheese, salt and pepper to get it down. The person I was with ordered the halibut though and she loved it. SO, I would maybe go back and get fish or oysters next time.

To small space. The seats were cramped and service slow , I was there a year ago ( only time ) and this all I really remember about it
