Went with a few friends. After a huge lineup, all of us ordered different salads. We go our order, we noticed that we are missing many of the ingredients that are listed on the menu.I ordered the Field cobb, I was missing, bacon, arugula, brussels sprout, and boiled eggs! The only ingredient I got was lettuce and chicken. My 2 other friends had the same problem. After we complained they came to our table and apologized, they explained that they are going through a transition period and they are missing some of the ingredients! Later we saw a lady coming around to to everyone with a bowl of bacon and sprinkling it on peoples salads! She said that they just finished making the bacon. This is so unprofessional in my opinion.I don’t understand why they would put something on the menu when they don’t have the ingredients to make it. $14 for plain lettuce and chicken breast that’s what I paid for.

Another of those ‘let’s sit awkwardly close to annoying strangers’ places that seem to be cropping up all over the city. If only it were such a simple equation: communal table = instant community.Annoying strangers aside, the place has potential. Sunny room, sunny disposition (the servers), and an intriguing carte du jour of salads. I had the Baba Bouleh thingummy. It was tolerable at best. Everything was covered in ‘crunchy chickpeas’ that had turned into tooth-trauma inducing ball bearings.I wish them well, but I’ll never darken their doorstep again.

I had the baba bouleh salad and have to say that it was delicious. It had a good mix of vegetables and taboule, and not too much baba ganoush. A good balance of all the ingredients. It was on the expensive side for a salad though. I would go back, just not as often as I would otherwise if it was less expensive.

Cool healthy concept option for a quick salad. The beef in the Babah Bouleh was well seasoned and for the price the salad was very large. Lots of extra stuff to add if you like. I wish the baba ganoush was smokey, that’s how I grew up eating it. Staff here are pretty sour and transactional. They need to smile more! Only the Australian girl was friendly.

Had lunch here today! If you are craving for a hearty salad then this is the place to go. Salad is fresh… Variety of condiments to add ontop. The decor is clean and modern. I definitely will recommend this place.

I had lunch here today and the salad was amazing! I had the Rustic Orzo Bowl and my friend had the Black Kale Caesar. The orzo had a great amount of dressing and a healthy portion of chicken and greens. I tried my friends Black Kale Caesar and I must say that smoked Chicken Thigh was phenomenal! It was well priced and I would go back for a healthy salad option.

Field & Social Vancouver is a brand new salad bar on fleek. It is a recently opened new healthy eats restaurant located on Dunsmuir between Homer and Richards Street. Stephen Collins and Moe Samieian brings office lunches new excitement with vegan and gluten free options that don’t bore you to sleep! Say NO to boring lunches! The space itself is something I would love to call home. Shiny copper industrial pendant lamps, marble, wooden tables / counters seats draped with a high ceiling white walls!Gone are the days of weight your own salads that are bland and expensive! Field & Social’s line up of green leafs, seeds and add ons like chicken breast / thigh, pulled beef and Ajitama ramen egg will seriously have you rethink chowing on that fast food greasy burger.Gone are the days of weight your own salads that are bland and expensive! Field & Social’s line up of green leafs, seeds and add ons like chicken breast / thigh, pulled beef and Ajitama ramen egg will seriously have you rethink meal prepping.Sen Lek Smoked Tofu 12.50 (VEG): Packed full of different textures and delicious wholesome goodness. This reminds me of a bowl of Vietnamese nng. Rice noodles, Ramen egg, smoked tofu, shiitake mushrooms, sauted vegetables, scallions, sesame seeds, sweet herbs, hazelnuts and crispy shallots and roasted hazelnut sauce with chili and lime. I added chicken thighs to it to give it some extra protein before a serious workout with ClassPass.Field Cobb 14 (GF): Roasted chicken breast, crispy cured pork tenderloin, soft boiled egg, goat cheese, vine tomato, butter lettuce, radish & cucumber. Served with creamy avocado and goat cheese dressing. This is definitely not your average bowl of Cobb Salad!$11 to $15 for a bowl of salad over lunch is not affordable for an everyday lunch. But when you are stumped between order Meal #1 with fries, it is definitely worth the extra dollar to treat your body a little a lot better. Say goodbye to that 3pm crash that hits you hard.I’m so excited that Field and Social. I love the casual, friendly environment that is completly Instagramable! nomss.com
