Decided a bowl of Spicy Miso Ramen would hit the spot on a cold rainy night. The Ramen Bar is a teeny place so score a seat and wait for your order. Service was warm and friendly. My vegetarian dish had a perfect balance of vegetable broth, full of flavour, nice spicy heat, not too miso-salty topped with a medley of puffed tofu, kimchi, green onions, strips of nori and half a soft boiled egg. I would have liked more wedges of soft tofu because it’s a nice complement to the dish. The noodles were cooked well. It was a good hearty meal and I would order this comforting bowl of goodness again. Now I’m keen to try other vegetarian ramen dishes in town to see how this measures up…
