Not the same won ton soup. Exceptional customer service. Hadn’t been there in a very long time, was craving won ton soup for lunch and being downtown Honeybun was the first place that popped into my mind. The soup was made to order as always, nice and hot, but the broth/soup base was like water. They no longer put shrimp in the won tons and although the 5 or 6 pieces of broccoli and the slice of carrot was cooked al dente, where was the bok choy. For $7.50 including tips and taxes the soup was filling but sub par. Not what it use to be.
Awesome. It’s so nice here! Cute restaurant with cheap and delicious food. Everyone is so friendly and the customer service is great. Would come here again for lunch or breakfast.
Great food, friendly owners. I eat at Honey Bun several times a week. The food is always freshly cooked and the owners are so friendly. Everything is spotless and tastes good.
For over a year, Honeybun has been my favourite inexpensive place to eat because the owners are so nice and always very welcoming and polite. Their chinese food dishes are extremely tasty and filling for a great price. I have eaten lunch there 60+ times, sometimes visiting up to 3 times a week. My favourite dishes are the sweet sour pork, the ginger beef, the crispy cod and the delicious chow mein. They also have excellent breakfast specials and of course their perfect honeybuns. I recommend Honeybun to anyone looking for mouth-watering chinese food, very friendly service and a great spot for people-watching.
Must try their wonton soup and spring roll. Best in town.
Been coming here all our life, best honey buns around. Will never find any better! Great wonton, all around one of our favorites in Victoria. A must eat for sure!
Chow mein tasted like overlooked Mr Noodles – not bad for the price you pay though. And of course you can never go wrong with a honey bun!
