What happened to the portions?Loved this place.. would come for the breakfast burrito because it was pretty large and tasty; it was so stuffed, it would burst at the seams. Today however, I received a fairly flat burrito in comparison (filling resembled a flat omelette with a few toppings tossed on top and rolled up) and only 6 pieces of potato chunks. Still pretty tasty, but tasted mostly egg.. hardly any chorizo sausage or other toppings. Just not the same… it is no different than any other breakfast burrito now… in fact, it’s just… blah

A unique breakfast experience. We ate the cornbread French toast and the egg mollete, which were fresh and interesting with a nice balance of flavours. This is the first cornbread I have eaten that I actually enjoyed. They had a Fuego habanero hot sauce. It had a nice flavour, but it was not as spicy as I was expecting. The breakfast was served with Marley Coffee. The coffee was slightly bitter, but it was smooth and flavorful. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Fuego was a flavorful way to kick start the day.

I had a lovely Sunday brunch with a friend. The place is cosy and right beside cafe Mexico. Their almond mocha was delicious and we enjoyed our veggie and Fuego bennies. One thing I didn’t realize was the hollandaise sauce is a chipotle one. I missed that when reading the menu so was caught off guard when I bit into it. Fine for those who love spice but I found it a little more than the usual mild amount I can handle. Will definitely come back to try the other menu items!

Looking to try some authentic Mexican food then you must try this place. It is very challenging to find something vegetarian.Even though there were limited options..but the veggie tacos was really good.

Breakfast veggie omelette was outstanding! Loaded with mushrooms, beans & cheese. Nice touch was fresh cornbread. Service pleasant & helpful.

Looooove the pulled pork pancakes! Though I think it’d be even better with a bit more pickled onion to even out the sweetness. Will come back to try their lunch options sometime, my friend really enjoyed their chicken enchiladas. Service was good and prompt as well.Edit: Third time back, the El Porco Benny is crazy good. More visits to come. 🙂

Wasn’t the best. Service was good and I like the look of the place. The menu looked good and all sounded good. Then the food arrived. It was pretty bad. Cheap ingredients on mis matched flavours. We both did not finish even half our meals. They charge expensive prices for a sub par product. A very weak effort in the victoria breakfast game. Oh well back to wait in line at jam Cafe!
