I’ve had some bad pad thai before but this one wins by a landslide. Pad thai was soupy and sauce was tomato based, which made it taste like something out of a chef boyardee can. Service was alright but no where near to make up for the food. Spend your $10 elsewhere.
The chicken red curry is quite delicious, I think I ended up getting their last bowl of the day so the amount of meat to rice ratio was quite substantial, way less toppings of chicken pieces and red and green peppers. With the measly amount that I got, I could taste the rich curry flavour, not over powered by coconut milk that I am used to eating at authentic Thai restaurants. For $9.00 a bowl, the amount is quite small but all food on campus anywhere is $$$. The lineup can get quite long during lunch hour and I’ve seen lines forming way before they open at 11:00am, so I would suggest heading there early. porkninjas.ca
