They make their own noodles!! So yummy!Everything I’ve tried there so far has been great!- pork pot stickers- beef flank and tendon noodle soup- pork hock bento (didn’t like the 1000 Island dressing on the side salad, but not a deal-breaker)- fried ribs- rice with pork sauce and tea eggWe’ve also had their yummy drinks. Mainly, we go for the Taiwanese food though – so hard to find in Victoria.
Finally a decent place in Victoria. I have my fair share of bubble teas in Vancouver and have even been to Taiwan to try the originals. La Tea Ah does a good job of bringing Vic town some decent bubble teas. And the fresh made-to-order crepes are delicious! Would love it if they have a bigger food menu, but no complain here. This is THE place to go for bubble tea in Victoria!20 Mar, 2012Had the smoked apple turkey crepe and it was super delicious! My honey black tea with coconut jellies and my boyfriend’s house milk tea with pearls were both yummy. Glad to have another place to get some Asian goodies in Victoria!!!
Mmmm crepes!. Decided to try the crepes because that seemed to be their specialty. It was so good! Great for takeout as it’s wrapped up. The crepe was light and crunchy, which was very refreshing. I wasn’t expecting that at all. Bubble tea was good too. Next time I am on the go (or not) I will be sure to come here and try the other types.
Very good!. This place totally reminds me of a places I’ve been to in modern Asia.Hands down, the best bubble tea in Victoria, and the nicest woman behind the counter! So happy to have found this place!
New favourite place!. I just came across this fantastic cafe today! Having lived in Taiwan for several years, I’m very picky about my bubble tea, and this place hit it out of the park! I had a small passionfruit green tea with coconut jellies, half sweet – one of my favourites – and it was perfect!La Tea Ah! has a really cheerful feel, and the person working was very nice. I’m looking forward to trying the Beef Noodles and a milk tea. If you’re at all interested in bubble tea, this is the place to go!
Very quaint, and the person working was really friendly; however, the bubble tea was so bad I couldn’t finish it. I got a mango tea with tapioca pearls. I can usually get through foods/drinks I dont like but I just couldn’t this time.
Very cute and reasonable.. I went in today with my boyfriend for bubbletea. He got taro flavour and I got Japanese green tea flavour, both with tapioca pearls. The decor of the cafe was very bright and friendly and the bubbletea was delicious and reasonably priced ($4.50 for a large; they only have one size). The person working was extremely polite and also offered us a free sample. I noticed the tapioca itself was a lot sweeter than other restaurants, but it went really well with the bubbletea which wasn’t overly sweet.Really enjoyed our experience and we will be back again.
