Wonderful food and atmosphere. We shared the saanich greens to start, which featured all local ingredients- the cherry tomatoes were so sweet they tasted like grapes! I had the bison short ribs which came with mashed potatoes, jus, carrots, and fresh greens. It was lovely, however the carrots were a bit raw and hard to cut through. My dining partner had the burger, which he enjoyed but claims does not hold a flame to the brasserie burger. For dessert we shared the pannacotta, it was light and creamy and lush, lovely. We enjoyed ourselves, the hatch Cabernet Sauvignon went well with my meal, and he enjoyed the driftwood pilsner, a nice refreshing summer beer. We will definitely be back.
