Why would you open a cafe and have terrible coffee? I had a waffle and it taste like made from pancake mix from a box. Coffee tastes like cheap grocery store brand. I returned mine and asked for espresso it tasted the same just stronger, they made me pay for it. When they gave me my waffle they had a bowl with the eggs on top of the waffle. Hope the bottom of bowl was clean. Good luck guys, you’re going to need it!

Extremely Bad Customer Service. Terrible unfriendly staff and awful customer service! The place looked cute so we went in to get a coffee and pastry. When we asked if they had any Gluten free options the cashier said No!! and was extremely rude and dismissive. I am visibly pregnant and had my 1 year old baby with me. I used the washroom and when we went to leave the owner came running after us saying we were not welcome to use the bathroom without purchasing something. The place was completely empty and now I know why. It looks like a family run business, run by a family who doesn’t know how to run a business!!!
Great Coffee and Food. They have a great variety of coffee and other beverages. By far the best espresso served in Downtown New Westminster. If you are looking for smooth and yet strong espresso, you have to visit Lou Lou Lounge! The food is exquisite! I have tried all their lasagnas and loved them all. They prepare everything fresh and add a great side salad to all their lunch items! Great atmosphere, clean restaurant, friendly staff – a great place to dine and drink coffee! Recommend it!
Sunny independent lounge for espresso & some hearty food.. Fresh and delicious food (all served with a decent portion of salad) – we have enjoyed their spinach lasagna and the muffins are so much nicer than your average coffee bar ones. There seems to be something on their menu for whatever you are craving, not just wraps. I very much like the location just a corner away from busy 6th in a generous room with a lot of light that is also spotless! plus a couple of spots outside for pooch and friends. Pleasant counter service too. I complained of the lousy coffee earlier, but I have seen an improvement so am recommending it. My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music and think of adding just a little greenery! : )FYI: they close at 6.
