Not good experience. First time visit , salsa night. Music was good. Cover 12 dollars was a little expensive for that poor cutomer service. One female staff was standing right in front of bar/ dance floor and said i had to leave my coat because it is mandetory. And they charged me additional 3dollars for that unwanted service. She was even wearing her coat. That was ridiculous and so annoying.
Disappointes. None. The food is terrible. Calamari was bad to a point i almost vomitted. The atmospherenwas bad. During Havana night they played east indian music to accomodate some east indian party in the corner of the place. The girl working at the door is rude as rude can be. We booked reservations for 8pm, and we went outside couple of times for a cigarette. After 9pm, we went out and came back in and she decided to charge us for coat check. When we booked reservations no one mentioned fees coat checks. Bad customer service. I would be surprised if this place stays open for more than 6 months. Bad food, bad ambionce, bad service. I will definitely never come back.
New Chef and Amazing Staff & Sala- Check it out!. Lux Lounge went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations!! My fianc and I + 30 guests had a BLAST at Lux Lounge and everything went so perfectly. The band, the Salsa (included a lesson), food, cool atmosphere and service we received was excellent. Our bartenders and our hostess made the night so magical we felt we were really taken care of. I just can’t express how attentive and considerate our hostess was with us. I feel she is a really genuine person who loves what she does and loves people! She spoke so openly and gregariously with the guests, even came into the pool area we used before dinner to tell us ‘dinner is ready’, and she even helped move my chalkboard and balloons to the main room and placed it on a chair- how kind of her! Or how she took care of everything by asking if we had everything, diligently bringing us more drinks, took a group photo for us, or how she brought the cake over with the appropriate utensils and plates for everyone AND cut the cake after us and passed them all out!!! Our male bartender was super considerate and asked how many were coming for dinner so he could set up the appropriate tables and chairs for the party- what a great guy! We go a LUX ON FIRE drink that my fianc and I had and it was a show stopper with the guests!!! The cook was awesome The food came quickly and it was super affordable and delicious. They had just changed the head chef a few days before we came. I was expecting small portions but they were large for the price!!! I can’t get enough that there was 3 different menus: a European, North american and Asian menu. I love that you can have such a variety to chose from! Did I mention I also loved the addition that there was a lesson before salsa started and the teacher was so great too!!! A bunch of my guests participated in the lesson (some I didn’t even think would) and we were all dancing, including my fianc, all just having a ball. The people who came for salsa (outside people) were so much fun and respectful, not creepy and eager. Everyone afterwards told me what a GREAT TIME they had and that they want to come back for salsa again!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! We will definitely come back 😀 Celebrating that night was just a blast!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Lux Lounge.
AMAZING!!!. I had tried Lux a few times over the past year or so….mainly for a drink or two due to it’s close proximity to my condo and because the staff is pretty cool. But just recently, I had an AMAZING meal there…..so I went back a few days later….and had another AMAZING meal!! Turns out they have a new chef who is straight up awesome. Going back tonight…can’t get enough!
Super Slow Servise – OK Food. We waited for more than half an hour for a server to even approach our table. After we placed our order, we waited about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was good (or maybe we were so hungry by then that we could not be too picky) but unfortunately I would never go back because of the service.
Terrible service, underwhelming food. We waited an hour and a half for our meal after ordering brunch here. The food (we ordered ‘eggs Benedict” and chicken and waffles) was poorly plated and flavourless. This place is best avoided.
Great service. I’ve been here a few times now and each experience has been unique. Servers are both well spoken and efficient. I particularly like the Australian servers. I highly recommend Lux Lounge.
