Good coffee. Not very sure of these other reviewer’s expectations, or taste buds, but I have always had an excellent cup of coffee and good service. I live in Victoria and have been patronising the Government Street shop for many years. And no, I am not a particular fan of Starbucks coffee. It is rather annoying that they usually close early, but I was delighted to see them open while the tourists were still about at 8 o’clock in the summer evening.
Coffee tastes burnt. Was expecting a good coffee for $4.50 – tasted burnt… like starbucks.
Cute coffee cafe in town. nice people here.
COFFEE SUCKS!!!. WORST COFFEE EVER and the espresso machine was broken, so you couldn’t order anything but brewed coffee or tea (or food – but we went there for coffee) and the brewed coffee was so bad we drank only enough for a slight caffeine fix, and then threw the rest out. REALLLLY BADDDD COFFFEEEE
It was ok.. My coffee overflowed from the cup when served.. Inspite of me asking for a smaller size when ordering!! Would prefer starbucks over it..
I’m quite surprised that no one has written a review in a very long time. Makes me wonder if anyone is going to this location, because I’m sure they would have something to say.Went for Breakfast on a saturday morning and wasn’t terribly impressed.Restaurant had 1 other person inside and I think only 1 or 2 others came in while we were there.Coffee was good.Breakfast was… ‘meh’.My scrambled eggs were not fully cooked and I could see it was all cooked on the same grill right next to my bacon as there were eggs cooked onto my bacon. The grill needed a good clean as my eggs took on the color of the grill.This is definitely no frills. I might order their coffee again, but I would order something simpler in the food category so that I wouldn’t be disappointed.
Worst coffee i have had in years. Undrinkable, watch out! :[
