I never write reviews but this was a bad experience! Unfortunately the service was very poor and the $40 seafood hot pot was bland with more mushrooms than seafood bits. Give this one a miss!!

I had the seafood linguini and it was excellent! Great taste, and good sized portions. Would highly recommend for a fancy dinner! For dessert we had the triple chocolate mousse parfait which was amazing

Steaks were done perfectly and highly delicious. I honestly have had better mashed potatoes but I really have no complaints except for the floors really needed a vac – restaurant cleanliness is a big bonus for me eh. They know how to mix a good gin/vodka vermy martini dirty 😉

Went here for lunch based on recommendations from our tour guide. Ordered crab cakes, lobster bisque and west coast seafood crockpot. Enjoyed every bit of the food paired with wine selection as recommended by the host. Little pricey but good one!

Went here for dinner with my family. I would say that the food was tasty but way overpriced for a family. I ordered the fish and chips because the lobster Mac n cheese I wanted was $60 and the fish and chips $24. The potions aren’t very big either , I am sure there wasn’t more than a quarter cup of cole slaw on my plate. Cabbage is dirt cheap . So yes although tasty I won’t be back. We went to Vic’s restaurant the night before and had similar meals they were just as tasty, much more satisfying and not nearly as pricy. Oh yes Vic’s maybe doesn’t have the view of Nautical Nellies but we were seated in a spot where we couldn’t see the ocean anyway.

Expect that the place is loud and not really kidfriendly. It is expensive but it’s worth it. What I love is the seafood. We ordered the set of seafood appetizers. The food is beautiful and flavourful. I would definitely come back here if I go to Victoria,BC again.

Went here with my family to celebrate moving back to the same city as them. I have to admit that my black cod with gooseberries and wild rice was extremely underwhelming. Very salty, kind of raw, just an unappetizing blend of tastes, shouldn’t have made it onto the menu. I’ve had the fish and chips before which is good. I think the menu is pricier than it should be for the quality. Expensive drinks and food but nice view I guess. My wife liked her seafood pappardelle a lot. So I suppose the food is just hit or miss.BUT. The oysters are fantastic. I’ve had oysters at several loyal oyster spots and I think this was my best oyster experience. Now that I know that they do a reduced-price mid-day oyster thing, I think I’ll be back just for those. Edit: Have been back for happy hour, they are insanely good and have great food and drinks for a great value. Raising review to reflect this but much better for happy hour than a late night dinner.
