I’d give a rating lower than 1.0 if I could. Terrible. Butter Chicken tasted like Ragu pasta sauce. Extra vegetables consisted of three slender strips of red pepper. Rice was hard as a rock and made up about 2/3 of the meal. I can hear my girlfriend spitting out bits of basically uncooked rice as I type this. What a waste of money. Should have gone back for a refund. Just won’t plan on going again. Noodlebox, once an institution in Victoria has fallen so very far.
Awful food. Nasty, loud music. First time here and would NEVER go back. Deep-fried beef dumplings- disgusting. Pad Thai – dry, no flavour, some lame chicken afterthought – just useless food, and too much of it.
Bad experience. I dropped by a few minutes after 6 because I tried phoning an order in and no one picked up but the website said they were open until 8. When I got there I was told they were closed because they 120 ord rs behind which was a 2 and a half order wait. He suggested I head over to the Fisgard location several blocks away because it only had a 10 minute wait. when I got there I waited in line for 20 minutes at which point I was told they were slammed because the Douglas location was eps ending everyone to them and it would be at least a 30 minute wait. I was not impressed and went home within us placing my order.
Pad Thai. Great dish. My favorite is with tofu medium spice
Gone waaaay downhill. For the past 10 years, this has been one of my favourite places to get take-out in YYJ. Over the past 3 or 4 years, though, the food quality has gone downhill and the prices have gone up. It’s no longer a great tasty meal for a good price but a very inconsistent hit-and-miss choice that feels more and more like fast food every time I go there. It’s kind of sad, really.
Worst noodles ever. There was nothing even added to my noodles, it had no flavour and when i called back to complain the girl on the phone pretended to be the manager.
Not a fan anymore!. Used to be a good price for great food. Now it’s overpriced ok food. I will not be returning there anytime soon. Also very oily noodles.
