Best Kept Secret Dinner in Vancouver!. Amazing pulled lamb sandwich and Greek poutine! Awesome food all round!!
Great food with no shortcuts. While in town on business, I enjoyed a great lunch and two breakfasts at this lovely little place. Breakfast was served piping hot each time, with a generous portions of hash browns and multi-grain toast. I liked that the little fruit cup featured chunks of pear, ripe melon and berries. They didn’t take the shortcut of using large chunks of crunchy, unripe melon to fill up the bowl. Lamb souvlaki was very flavourful, and served with a proper greek salad — fresh cut cucumber, tomato, peppers, topped with feta. Once again they avoided the cheap shortcut of using iceberg lettuce to bulk up the salad. Greek omelette was excellent — hot and flavourful. Attention to detail and no cheap shortcuts here!
Wonderful family-run breakfast and lunch bistro – take out and catering available too.. I just had a great lunch at O’Love Bistro after it was recommended to me by a friend. This place is perfect for a sit down or take out breakfast or lunch and is located near the Bentall buildings [where I work]. I had the turkey and lentil soup to start and it was delicious; not over salted, generous portion and home made. For my main I opted for the pulled lamb baguette which had been recommended to me and it too was a winner – the lamb was full of flavour and the baguette was toasted perfectly. Although we didn’t indulge, wine is offered on the menu and half glasses are available at a very reasonable price [perfect for when you still need to return to the office but want to enjoy a taster at lunch]. I’d highly recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch and I found out they do catering, too.
Yummy. Had the pull lamb baguette and it was flavorful and delicious! The bbq sauce in it is not overpowering, I was afraid it would be at first. The soup was pretty decent too. I personally think the price is decent compare to other restaurants around the area. I would definitely go back :).
Great Breakfast!. We had a great breakfast at O’Love and were nearly the only ones in there. The owner served us and chatted pleasantly a bit whenever he stopped by the table to check on us. The food was hot and delicious and very reasonably priced. I hope people make the effort to stop in and try them out!
This place is great. Try the bocconcini, this is my go too lunch spot downtown
