Such a wonderful store, every visit makes me smile. The owner is funny and friendly, the store is chalk full of very unique candies most of which I have never seen before. This is a perfect candy store for kids of all ages as they are creating wonderful happy memories. I can certainly recommend this store for everyone. My favourite items so far are Japanese gummies and Milka chocolate from Europe
OK, I have a sweet tooth so this isn’t a fair review. This little store is like a drug to me, calling my name . . come in . .come inI discovered this Johnson Street gem just about one year ago and have probably spent half of my retirement fund there already. The staff are always smiling and seem to have too much fun.The selection is amazing! Every time I go in there is something new from another country. So far my main addictions are Milka chocolates and Creme Brulee kit kats from Japan. This store is hard to describe, it is so full it can become confusing.there are three levels and every inch seems to have another cool sweet from somewhere I have never traveled to.Plan to spend 15 to 20 minutes when visiting just to get focused on their selections.Last time I was in they were handing out samples of a bacon brittle and soft fudge that they make, I had to pass on the bacon as I am a vegetarian but I did hear rave reviews and watched others snatch it up.This store is too much fun and all the customers chat with each other creating a really warm atmosphere
Great place. Lots of selection AN little jars of hundreds of little fudges. Ummmmmm
Fun to browse in. It was fun to browse the candy in the store and reminisce about the candy of my youth as well as some of the goodies I remember from travels in Europe, however… the prices are just too high for what you get. I realize the candy has to be imported in some cases, but even so, the pricing just seems far too high. A package of 3 Pixie Stix will cost you $5.00 when you can simply head to the Dollar Tree and buy a whole bag of 62 Pixie Stix for a dollar. You get my point… but it was fun to look at.
I love this candy store. Great store on lower Johnson streetFantastic selection of retro and unique goodies
Cute candy store with a wonderful selection. This was our last stop on a great weekend trip to Victoria. We found this store while out wandering the streetsThe selection was over the top, my partner being of German background was in chocolate heaven.I think the girl said that they had candy and chocolate from 30 different countries.Tiny store but stocked to the ceiling with unique sweets.I think we paid their rent for the month, we got carried awayThe diet starts tomorrowThis is a ‘have to’ visit store in Victoria
