Wow. Yum!. This is a gem in the otherwise drab bay center food court. Food is fresh and service is friendly. Better Greek than many of the more expensive sit down options in Victoria.Gyros, half fry / half Greek salad is my goto. Pitas are a tad thick but delicious.
Thumbs Way Up!. I love the food at Opa! For a food court vendor, this place should not be missed. I highly recommend the Gyro platter with Greek salad. The gyro comes in a warm, thick Pita bread, and the salad is a good size. A really good value for about $9. We ate here on Friday, and the guys working there were super helpful and friendly. They took the time to explain the different types of meats and styles (Souvlaki vs Pita Wrap). I really enjoyed the Gyro that I had (a beef/lamb combination that is roasted on a spit). Great food, fast and friendly service. What more could ask for during the lunch rush?
I love the opa in wood grove mall in nanaimo I go there everytime I’m at that mall… I went to this thinking I’m gunna have my souvlaki and it was terrible it just didn’t taste the same aside from the guy working hitting on me he burnt the crap out of my pita it was rock hard and black I asked if I could get a new one and he said he would have to charge me I said it is unedible and he goes oh it’s just a little well done I couldn’t even eat the food I wanted a refund and he said sorry were closing up totally bad service

YAY!. Ok, I hate food courts, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and mill with the masses. Opa at the Bay centre is the best in that situation. They are fast, friendly, attentive and the serving sizes are great. My one issue is that I wish they wouldn’t toos the croutons in the cesar salads as this makes them a little on the soggy side. But whatever, these guys are great, love they huge smiles and the curteousness!
Generous servings. Wow, the Opa Soulvaki are very generous with their servings. The staff are enormously friendly, and they truly enjoy serving you the best soulvaki you can have. The calamaris, salads, soulvaki, wraps are made to perfection. They give you enough amount of sauce per plate to enjoy the whole meal. I’ve been to other Opa Soulvakis around the country, but I think this branch have the best service in terms of food, friendliness and diligence.
