I love their leek & Parmesan pastry. Also the Mexican food is great, nice to have something like this so close to my home. Love that I can buy fresh bread here too
The veggie burrito is very good (really love the mushroom, is it portobello?), but I don’t care for the attitude of the serving staff. Look, I understand you may be annoyed at people taking your salsa bottle to use at their table, but it’s not an excuse to be pissy with paying customers. Solve the problem already! Either buy more bottles (one per table would be nice, it’s not as if you have 10+ tables to deal with!) or keep a bottle behind the counter and serve the salsa in tiny plastic condiment containers (this would be annoying for salsa-hogging customers like me, but acceptable). Despite the good food, I probably won’t return here. Too bad.
Excellent Mexican. I’m not much of a Bakery or desert person. At all. That’s why I didn’t realize that this place also serves Mexican food. A few Limited choices, but they are made properly. I had the taco meal and it was well seasoned and made with care. I think if this place put a bit more effort into promoting the Mexican food side of the business, it could be just as, if not more popular, than the bakery side. If you’re at the Quay in New West, this is truly a solid lunch option.
Good. I love their salsa!! huge burrito and very tasty..at an excellent price..will come back of course!!
The best sopes and tortilla soup I’ve had outside of Mexico!
Pamola. Not bad. a few gluten free items available
Good Mexican dishes. One of the few places in New Westminster to get authentic tacos, sopes, and enchiladas. It’s not four star dining, but for a little food booth in the River Market, it definitely works. The family that runs it is also really nice and friendly.
