Great experience! We ordered a nice assortment of Japanese (mango roll, sashimi salmon, las vegas roll) as well as japchae and teriyaki chicken. As for seating, from past experience, do not sit at the 4-person table beside the door. The breeze will ruin your dining experience every time the door opens. Also, the seats along the communal table in the middle of the restaurant have an abnormally small surface area. I guarantee you the majority of the population’s bottoms would spill over the sides of the seat and you would not have an enjoyable meal. So basically we ended up changing tables twice during our time there. I would go back to try more of their sushi rolls though! Their prices seem lower than average in the touristy area of Trounce Alley which was a bonus!
Absolutely no training… Waiter and waitress both grabbed our glasses at the top rim and it was down hill from there. The gyoza were greasy, the avocado roll had to be sent back, (it was black), the miso soup was transparent. The appetizer showed up half ways through our meal…… really. This was our second time there, I was told it improved and was ok……………… NOTSTAY AWAYOn the positive side, the atmosphere is great.
Underrated Korean place that we went to on a whim. It’s got a great selection of ramen, and the sashimi salad is something I never had before. It was great!
The restaurant atmosphere and interior is on point! Probably a cool place to take your date if she/he wants asian food. But the food was alright. Normally, I don’t like to eat Korean food when eating out but my parents wanted to try this place so we went. The food mostly were too sweet. We had two noodle dishes, sweet & sour pork and one rice dish. All of them were on the sweet side. A little less sugar and a little more seasoning would have brought out the flavors of each dish better.
Fresh ingredients, well prepared. Nice interior. Friendly staff. Very well priced. One of the better Japanese restaurants I’ve been to, with prices similar to take-away.
