Firstly, this was not at the Fisherman’s Wharf location. This was off the food truck at the Royal BC Museum for their food truck festival. We had the salmon burrito. The portion you get for the price was decent. The salmon was alright. But the rice inside was no good. Mushy, watery looking and bland. I was expecting this to be packed with flavour … A good punch! But I was disappointed. I would not order it again. However seeing other people order the fish tacos, I heard they’re decent. May give it a try next time if I go.
Terrific tacos!. I’ve had the fish tacos at Fishermans Wharf a few times and each time they were excellent. The fish is crisp and so tasty. I tried the taco combo at Uptown and the potato/spinach ones were a standout, try them for a vegetarian change.
Uptown Food Completly Dissapointing. Stopped for lunch on mothers day. Tried to place our order and they were out of cheese and prawns. We ended up getting an order of fish tacos to share. There was only one order ahead of us and they had to call those people back up to tell them they were out of ingredients for what they had ordered, and they needed to pick something else. It was at least 20 minutes for us to receive our order, and by that time there was a line up of people and no one had taken any orders from them as the two staff members were both working on our one order of tacos. Horribly slow service and poor management, what Mexican place has no cheese? Never again.
MUST TRY!!. Had Baja and prawn tacos…So delicious!! The spicy salsa is so full of flavor, wish you could buy the sauces to take home!!!
These mini tacos are the best mini tacos I’ve ever had, fresh ingredients, amazing avocado salsa. Anyone looking to grab some lunch should most certainly go out of their way to eat here. 5 stars for sure
Disapointed on 2nd Visit to Uptown location. After enjoying the fish tacos at Puerto Vallarta Amigos Uptown the first visit I was excited to introduce my husband to the food there. He ordered the beef steak tacos and I ordered the fish tacos. We ordered our food to go. I’m glad I checked the order because they had shorted us one fish taco on the standard order of three. I brought it to their attention and they quickly made me another taco without apology. My husband was really disapointed with his beef tacos. All of the meat was chewy, fatty and had grissle on it. While the flavour was good, the quality of the meat was terrible. (3 tacos for $11.50). The fish tacos were very tasty second time around but due to the poor quality of the other food and the service we won’t be returning.
