TL:DR food good, drink was gross, service was the worst. I decided to try out this place because it had good Google reviews, but it was really disappointing. My friend and I went the restaurant 35 min before closing and asked if it was too late. The server said it was fine. There was only 3 other customers sitting at one table next to us when we went in. The waitress came out 3x to give food to that table, but didn’t take our order or give us water or make eye contact after we tried to make eye contact with her. After waiting 10-15 min, we went up to the counter and asked to speak to the waitress to get a menu. The waitress pointed at the menus for us to get it ourselves. An older lady (the owner?) appeared and then gave us the menu. After waiting another 10 minutes, without anyone taking our order, we noticed that waitress was scrolling through her phone at the cashier/counter. When we got out of our seats and asked to order, she irritably said that they were closing soon. We calmly said that that’s fine; we are ready to order and can eat quickly. We ordered 1 drink and an appetizer. The drink was really gross – it tasted like sugar water mixed with a weird powder that had a gross chemical aftertaste. The appetizer I ordered was veggies with meat sauce. It tasted yummy and was a good price. We noticed the older lady was busy chatting with the table next to us for about 20 minutes and the younger waitress was MIA. No one came to check on us or refill our water. After waiting another 20 min to pay and get our bill, we decided to go up the counter again and ask to speak to the waitress and pay. The waitress was MIA so the older lady came to collect our money. No apology for the lack of service was given. Just came to get our money and have us leave. The older lady tried to smile and be positive, but the younger waitress acted like we were a nuisance and didn’t exist. Although we were polite and courteous to both of the staff, we left feeling disrespected and ignored.
