Finally! After nearly a year of saying I’d come try this place out, I stopped by for a dinner. When we walked in all the tables were full so we took the bar seats in the corner. I was very surprised how quickly the place cleared out. People can sure eat their perogies and down it with beer quick. Not knowing what to pick, I picked the perogi sampler. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quick in/out sit down place.

A different take on the Ukrainian tradition that’s for sure. Tried a few different perogies a few months ago and liked each one. There are a few choices of dips that aren’t just all flavoured sour creme to choose from.
Had the sampler and my co-pilot had the Maple Jack & His Barbie-Q. Both were excellent, tons of flavor, well prepared, good presentation. Service was…..just okay. A little understaffed. But the server also was a little to chill. Would have given a higher score if Service was better.
Sad to say this place was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend or return. The Krafty Dinner was extremely dry, the pierogis were chewy and bland. It seemed like they tried to make up for the lack of good flavour by dumping salt on it. The Keep bc green pierogis had a very tasty balsalmic reduction, but again very dry and chewy. The service was slow and lacking. There was only one other table when we were there and they had ordered before we arrived. It still took over 35 minutes for our food. The best thing about this place is the cool looking vault door.
The food here was really good! Service was a little lacking, but we did have a new server that just started. I would totally go back! If you love pierogies I would totally recommend this place.
Tried it a few nights ago and we really enjoyed it. We had a variety of the different types offered with different toppings. 2 of us ordered 5 plates to split and were very full and had to take some home. Consider that each type comes with 3 perogies for about $4 and this is also a good deal for the money. The toppings were all interesting and packed with flavour. My favourite was the Nah Bro’s topping on the pulled pork perogies. We wanted to try the braised rib but they were sold out, however the chef was nice enough to bring us a sample of the meat that he had just prepared and we will be going back soon to try it out in a perogi. This place will become a regular haunt with a cool atmosphere and the smaller servings are a perfect lunch or late night snack or order a few and you have a meal.
