  I cant believe we have not visited here sooner ! This place has a funky dark club kinda vibe but with a very laid back feel and friendly service . Both food and drinks were really reasonably priced. We had 5 people at our table and everyone loved what they got. I suggest the Bahn Mi and the Atomic Nacho tots . The bathrooms are covered in chalk messages from visitors – which was fun, we even left one ourselves! A+ cant wait to go back.

  I left Victoria for two years and now that I’m back, things have changed. And one of the most welcome changes is this new place on Broad St – Saint Franks. I’ve been here six or seven times. So here’s what’s going on there. It’s a pretty comfortable seat-yourself kind of bar with tables. They do a variety of cocktails and drinks and some cheaper beer cans. Although last time I went that wasn’t going on. Hey Saint Franks, keep your beer cans cheap and on special! Also they have really affordable food, really good hot dogs (I love the butter chicken one) served with hickory sticks. Good place to go for some drinks and an easy meal without sacrificing on atmosphere. Because, speaking of atmosphere, they have a bunch of cocktail-style multi-arcade units. You can set your drinks or food on them and play 1 player or 2 player games. It’s like a table but you see the screen through it. So yeah, good fun atmosphere, not often too busy, open late… what am I missing? Haircuts! They do haircuts. Like… you know how you always want a haircut but it’s so annoying booking an appointment and hair places are only open in the daytime when you work, so then you have to go ahead and book on a weekend and they’re only open in the morning and now you can’t sleep in and your life is ruined?? You can just go to Saint Franks and have some drinks or food with pals and throw your name on a list and get your hair cut while your pals play video games or something. Are you like me and kind of awkward talking to hair people? This way it’s totally socially acceptable to have a few drinks first and now you’re best buds with your hair person. Maybe that’s bad advice. But yeah, I’ve gotten my last four haircuts here out of convenience.Whew, this got long. Yeah. 4.5 stars – they’re pulling out all the stops when it comes to a fun place to go for drinks, my only request is that there should be a long-standing static deal on some kind of cheap beer can, like $3 a can or something. I thought they had this with PBR but ended up paying like $10 for two cans with tip the other night so maybe it’s only sometimes and if that’s the case, dudes, don’t mess with us! We don’t know when or why deals start or end! Here’s my proposal. Company lager, it’s local, it’s pretty cheap, and for $3 you could call it… Three’s Company! Cause you get a Company for $3. If you do it, I want royalties.
