Had an early dinner here last night. Sashimi was great, tempura great, spicy sauce pretty good. Some awesome fusion rolls. My new regular place.
Decided to try this place tonight due to the reviews. Had a horrible experience with this restaurant. Ordered their honeymoon dinner for two, and the sashimi that came with the dinner was spoiled. Had a fishy taste, was slimy. When brought to the attention of the manager, they called us liars, and tried to force us to pay for the spoiled sashimi. The manager even threatened to call the police when we refused to pay for the sashimi. If you want to avoid horrendous service and have actually good sushi, try Koto Sushi, Ebizo Sushi, or Shiki Sushi, basically any place but here.
Good place to have lunch. Their lunch bentos are good and very reasonably priced. The assorted sashimi (Chirashi Don) tasted fresh and I haven’t been disappointed in any rolls that I’ve ordered. My favorites so far are the Islander and Highlander rolls. The servers are all very nice and accommodating, plus lunch service is pretty quick.
Place is a classic, always leave with a smile
Decent enough sushi but the restaurant felt cold and unwelcoming. The food took way too long and service was meh.
This is the first time I’ve written a review for a restaurant and it’s because of the horrid experience I had. The fish was frozen, the rice was stale, and the tempura tasted mouldy. Service was also very slow.2/10 in my books.
Good value, decent menu. Shrimp sunomono salad was not very fresh, and the prawns in our tempura were a little overlooked and tough. But! Better than Azuma!
