I looooove Trini to D Bone. It’s one of our weekly go-to places. Everything here is so great, brings me back to the Caribbean every single time.
Eat here soon and always. We do.. Amazing quality, flavor and great value for money. Here’s hoping that Victoria folks whom have not yet tried out the everything made from Scratch delights of Trini to D Bone, will give them a shot.My wife and I eat here, or get take out, three times a week when we are in Victoria. The roti shells are made in house as is everything, and they melt in your mouth! Are not chewy. The fillings are healthy and very tasty. You can ask for extra hot sauce to make it as spicy as you wish.Trinidad is the cuisine capital of the Caribbean and Trini To D Bone are great ambassadors for it!Curried goat on a Friday or Saturday – we are addicted – if you like lamb-, you will love the goat served. See picture attached.Thank you Nirmala and Jeff for putting so much integrity into your food!
The Trini Roti. IT’S a wrap from the island of Trinidad .
Excellent value, Delicious food and downtown for lunch. Excellent value and very tasty. I work across the street in a government building and sometimes want something different, filling, tasty and at a reasonable price. I found it inside the Ambrosia Catering door. Jeffrey, the owner, is from Trinidad and has a restaurant on West Burnside Road near the Pacific Forestry building. This is his second operation and has 5 intimate tables for couples to eat at or take-away as I did. I had the salad box which consisted of a good portion of delicious rice, an offering of either roasted pork or chicken in spices, some green salad and a dressing. All for $7.50 plus tax. The equally delicious looking Roti, again with rice, pork or chicken is $8.00 plus tax. So I would recommend this place for lunch and I will be going back again. Try the ginger beer.
