We were in this shop earlier today. We waited an hour for our waffles (the kitchen was putting waffles out 2 every 10 minutes) then when we finally got ours and they were cold. Not even like slightly warm, just cold. Bearing in mind I took 1 bite and my boyfriend had maybe had 2 or 3 bites. So I brought them back up to the counter. First they asked me if I wanted them microwaved. Since they were topped with whipped cream, the waffles would have been bad if theyd microwaved them, so I asked if they could be redone. She said yes but it would take 20 more minutes. Since wed already been waiting for an hour we decided we just wanted our money back. When I went up to ask for money back I got yelled at by the lady at the front desk. She she wouldn’t give me my money back since we’d each eaten half of our waffles (apparently 3 bites is half of a waffle) and complained that they were cold when they weren’t. She continued yelling saying that if she gave money back to every customer she wouldn’t make any money. I just kept pointing out we’d barely had any of our waffles and didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes. She then said she’d tell the kitchen to make them as quick as they could and she’d put them in a to go box (a request I never made, but I guess she wanted me gone at that point.) When we got our waffles my boyfriends had a normal amount of toppings, but mine had maybe a quarter of the toppings that had been on my first waffle.So all in all, it was an awful experience and I won’t be going back.
No milk at a waffle place? Servers seemed annoyed that we came through the door. The pretentious mason jar drinks. Not a great start. The waffles were pretty good though. The kids had the nutella and whats not to like? The waffle was light and fluffly and whip cream and nutella. Need I say more? The bacon cheese was so close to awesome but the bbq sauce was not a good idea. This place was almost a 1 but somehow almost a 4 at the same time. Probably worth another try as I bet there are some amazing items on the menu.
Some of your reviews are hilarious, haha y’all need to get you heads outta ya ass. If you have an issue while at a restaurant, simply bring it up with your server or whoever is around I’m sure they would be pleased to help you. If the music is too loud for you, ask them to turn it a couple notches down but don’t tell people not to go to a great place like this because of it. LOL just makes me laugh. Shouts out to WCW you guys are dope, keep doing what you are doing.
I’m so disappointed by my experience at West Coast waffles. My partner’s waffles weren’t cooked through, it was a mushy mess and it wasn’t even what he ordered. The guy working was nice and replaced it with another plate but it still was a waffle mess and again the wrong order. What’s going on here ?? For a Waffle House I would think they could top the waffles I order at Smitty’s or even the waffles I personally make at home. Overall I think they should revamp what there serving or close down the place. Now I’m going across the street to get another breakfast at Bagels on Broad. For anyone reading this, skip it!
Came here for the first time. Brought my wife and daughter for Valentine’s Day breakfast. I had the Chicken Parmesan, my daughter had the BlackBerry Peach and my wife had the Mexican Sunrise. We were all very pleased with the flavours, presentation and the the portions. Friendly staff made our meal even better! I am looking forward to my next visit! 🙂
WOW. Wow Elliott! please keep off the internet beause you aren’t doing your business any favours! I like the reviews here but your replies on behalf of this business make you look like a total twat especially your one to Heigne. Tuck that attitude away and focus on the waffles!
Westcoast waffles. The waffles themselves are good, a little overpriced. I’ve ate there five times and each time they royally screwed up our order. I’ll never eat there again because the service is so terrible.
